A Detailed Explanation
Without understanding how Internet Cashback works, it is easy to think that it is too good to be true but as 1000s of Internet Cashback’s members will tell you, Internet Cashback really does deliver its promise of cashback on your shopping.
Internet Cashback is possible because of the sudden increase in affiliate marketing. Almost four out of five (78%) of people surveyed by E-Consultancy said that their organisations were spending more on affiliate marketing this year than they were two years ago and the same proportion (78%) said they expected to be spending more on affiliate marketing in the next two years. With the majority of retailers now having an affiliate programme in place, often with affiliate networks such as Affiliate Window, Buy.at or Trade Doubler, websites are given the opportunity to advertise different retailers on their website for a cash reward if they direct paying customers to the retailer’s website. Most websites keep this money as income, however Internet Cashback shares this money with the customer.
Internet Cashback lists all the retailers which they have an affiliate programme with and lets its members choose from the list when they are planning on making a purchase. Its retailers include Marks and Spencer, HSBC, Ebay and many more.
When an Internet Cashback member clicks on a link from Internet Cashback to a retailer, their click is given a unique reference number and is stored by the Internet Cashback website. The click is also tracked by either the retailer or the affiliate network managing the retailer’s affiliate programme, and if a purchase is made from the click, the affiliate network will inform Internet Cashback that a purchase has been made and will confirm the value of commission due. At this point Internet Cashback will set the cashback as pending in the customers Internet Cashback account, and then wait between 30-120 days to set the cashback to confirmed providing the customer doesn’t cancel or return the purchase. Internet Cashback will wait until the retailer has paid them the commission, and as soon as they do, Internet Cashback then shares this with the relevant member.
Once the Internet Cashback member has reached £40 cashback, which is easy as we even have some cashback deals which pay £50 cashback, the customer can request their cashback which is sent to them by cheque. Customers are also able to request that their cashback is sent a a charity of their choice.
Internet Cashback has the best cashback ‘refer a friend’ programme, where you receive 20% of your friends cashback earned, for example, if your friend earns £40 you will receive £8 cashback as a thankyou from Internet Cashback for referring them to our website. We have had members earn £100s of cashback just by referring friends to Internet Cashback.
